True sample prep innovation Superior usability at lowest resource use
Inlabtec offers to laboratories a smart environmentally friendly serial dilution workflow for routine microbial testing.
Step 1: Select required number of Serial Dilution Bags
Pull required number of Serial Dilution Bags out of the box and tear them off using the perforation.
Step 2: Place bags into the Serial Diluter
Insert Serial Dilution Bags into the Serial Diluter. Up to six Bags can be used. With a single, simple hand operation all the bags are opened and ready for a serial dilution.
New TA12: One to twelve dilutions freely selectable
Wear-free opening of the bags
Step 3: Starting serial dilution
Put the sample together with the pipette tip or pipette straw into the first bag, swivel the dosing arm in position and connect the dispensing nozzle. At the touch of a button 9 ml of diluent flush the sample into the bag where immediately an intensive vortex is formed. The sample dilution by direct radial mixing is completed by a sterile air blast in about 3.5 seconds. That's just enough time to load the pipette with a new tip or straw and entering the bag for sampling.
Fast - 3.5 s per dilution, 45 s for 6-step complete serial dilution
Accurate - sample totally rinsed out of the tip or straw
Reliable - automatic standardized dilution
Step 4: Performing subsequent dilutions
The previously diluted sample together with the tip or straw is transferred into the next bag for the next dilution. The addition and removal port of the bags are directly accessible without additional manual handling for true one-handed operation.

User friendly workflow
Step 5: Inoculation
After completing the dilutions are sampled through the separate bag opening for the inoculation of Petri dishes, 3M Petrifilm, etc. Alternatively plating is as well possible after each indvidual dilution step as used to do it with test tubes.
Convenient pipetting and plating
Ultrapure bags for unrestricted detection sensitivity
Step 6: Disposal
A simple hand operation releases the bags to remove them. For storage or further processing the used bags can be placed into the handy Inlabtec Bagshell or directely disposed.
